Reid: One Month

Is it true? Has it really been one month? Perhaps it's the lack of sleep, but man, this month FLEW by! Oh, my little Reid ... what can I say about you precious little boy?

One of the things you've done so well this past month is grow! At your two week check up you had already surpassed your birth weight and even grew a little longer {height: 21 1/4 inches // weight: 9.6 lbs // head: 38 cm}. And at one month you were already weighing in at 11 pounds - Oh my goodness! With all this growing we had to switch you out of the newborn size diapers and into the size 1. We've started to worry we're going to run out of clothes to put you into since you're already growing out of your cute little outfits!

You had some fun visitors come see you and spend time with you. Of course, your Momo and tia Amanda were here as well as Neo, Jaynie, tio Kyle and tia Emily. Your Aunt Honey came with your cousins {Logan, Avery and Maddie} ... they all couldn't wait to meet you! Tons of other fun friends came to see you, too. You are already so loved Reid!




We had your first official outing this month, too. We went {where else?} but the Richland Mall! And on a Friday night you better believe it was hoppin'. You did so well and were such a happy little baby being pushed in your stroller by your daddy. I think he was more excited than you were!

Some of your favorite things during this first month are: being swaddled, eating, bouncing in your bouncer, your pacifier, walks in your stroller, and hanging with your dad in the Ergo baby. 

Some of your not-so-favorite things are: napping, bath time, and loud noises!

You've certainly kept us busy, little one! Between all the feedings, diaper changes, nap times, bath times, and everything else we've definitely wondered what on earth we did before you arrived! But of course, we wouldn't change any of it.

Happy One Month!!

We waited for you for what seems like forever and now that you're here, I can hardly believe it! You've changed our lives for the better and it feels like our hearts grew 100 times more than we thought. We love you little guy!
