and i'll tell you why - its hard to share the hard stuff. its even harder to actually put it into words and type it out. it makes it more real. and i still don't want to believe the things that happened in the past year actually did happen.
things are still hard but we are doing ok. we are making it and will continue to make it. we laugh and cry and remember. we hold on to the hope that Jesus gives; and although thtat doesn't look the same as it use to, its all we have to hold on to.

.today is the last day of work for both britt and i! yay! we'll be enjoying a nice holiday break until january 4th!
.kyle [my brother in law] got engaged last month to the beautiful emily. we're so excited for them!
.last night, while pitting an avocado, i stabbed [inadvertently] my left hand. it was a deep laceration, but nothing a little dermabond can't fix!
. i now hate avocados.
